Orange Creme Cups
- 2 pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Orange Flavor Gelatin, divided
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 can (15 oz.) mandarin oranges in light syrup, drained
- 4 maraschino cherry halves (optional)
- Dissolve 1 pkg.
- of the gelatin in boiling water.
- Gradually add ice cream, stirring with wire whisk until well blended.
- Spoon evenly into 8 dessert cups.
- Refrigerate 20 min.
- or until chilled.
- Prepare remaining gelatin as directed on package.
- Arrange orange segments and cherries over refrigerated gelatin mixture.
- Gently pour gelatin over fruit.
- Refrigerate 1 hour or until set.
- Serve with a small dollop of whipped topping.
