Delicious Vietnamese Cuisine: Pho

  1. I used these pho noodles.
  2. This is the fish sauce and Weipa.
  3. Bring the water to a boil and add the Weipa to make the soup.
  4. Poach the chicken meat in the soup while skimming off any scum.
  5. When the chicken is cooked through, remove it from the soup.
  6. Add the fish sauce and salt.
  7. Taste and adjust.
  8. Cook the pho noodles following package instructions.
  9. Rinse the cooked noodles in cold water well.
  10. (This will firm them up.)
  11. Cut the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  12. Blanch the bean sprouts.
  13. Put the noodles in a bowl, add the chicken and other ingredients on top and pour the soup over.
  14. Add coriander leaves (or other toppings) to taste.
  15. The noodles are slippery and good.
