Potatoes Puree (Aligot )
- 2 lbs potatoes
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- 12 teaspoon salt (or to you taste)
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- 2 12 tablespoons butter
- 3 large garlic cloves (finally chopped)
- 6 ounces brie cheese, sliced or 6 ounces camembert cheese, with rind removed sliced
- 2 -3 tablespoons chopped chives
- Cook potatoes in boiling salted water to taste and cover for about 20 minute or till tender.
- Drain and peel your potatoes.
- Now mash the potatoes with the heavy cream in a large bowl,season with pepper.
- Meanwhile melt the butter in a small pan, and saute the garlic for abou 1 minute.
- Now you may add in the Brie cheese and stir till completely melted.
- Stir the melted cheese mixture into the mashed potatoes, and garnish with.
- chive, if you don't have chives use green onion, or parsley, serve immediately.
