Mocha Sauce

  1. Place the chopped chocolate in a medium stainless steel bowl and set aside.
  2. Combine together the cream and golden syrup in a saucepan.
  3. Over low heat bring to a boil, stirring often.
  4. Remove from the heat and immediately pour over the chocolate.
  5. Let stand until chocolate has melted and then stir until smooth.
  6. Stir in the coffee.
  7. Serve immediately over ice cream or cake.
  8. *Can be kept in fridge once it has cooled, cover and then reheat gently before serving.
