Raisin Pie

  1. Cool raisins and water together until tender Dissolve cornstarch in a little cold water and add along with molasses and salt.
  2. Remove from stove, add butter, lemon juice and rind.
  3. Cool.
  4. Fill a 9-inch lined pie pan.
  5. Cover with top crust.
  6. Bake at 425F for 30-40 minutes.
