Kele Aur Khus-Khus Ki Puri (Banana And Poppy Seeds Puri)
- 2 bananas, mashed
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 4 tablespoons khus khus (poppy seeds)
- oil, to fry
- Just 5 ingredients make a delicious banana and poppy seeds puri.
- To make this incredible puri, put the bananas in a bowl and mash.
- You may use over-ripe bananas as well and those having brown spots are best to use (a great recipe to use them instead of feeding them to the dustbin).
- Add in the flour.
- Mix with your fingers.
- Add 2 tsp oil.
- Mix well.
- Allow the dough to rest for 30 minutes.
- Now put little oil on your palms.
- Make small round balls out of the dough.
- Dust them in khus-khus seeds, on either side.
- Using a rolling pin, now roll them to the size of a regular puri.
- Likewise, do for the entire dough.
- Fry all the puris in oil.
- When golden brown on one side, flip the puri and fry on the other side as well.
- Serve immediately with potatoes vegetable (aloo ki bhaji) and your favourite pickle!
- YUM!
