Bran Cereal Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Grease 12 medium muffin cups or line with paper liners; set aside.
  3. Mix cereal and milk in medium bowl; let stand 5 min.
  4. Add egg, sugar and oil; mix well.
  5. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in large bowl.
  6. Add cereal mixture; stir just until moistened.
  7. (Batter will be lumpy.)
  8. Spoon batter evenly into prepared muffin cups, filling each cup 2/3 full.
  9. Bake 25 to 30 min.
  10. or until golden brown.
  11. Serve warm.
