Fresh Tomatillo Sauce - Salsa
- 1 lb about 9 tomatillo, husks removed, rinsed and quartered
- 2 jalapenos or 2 serranos, stemmed and halved
- 1 cup fresh cilantro stems, and leaves (lightly packed)
- 1 garlic clove
- 12 onion
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons water
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender and pulse a few times before blending the ingredients into a puree.
- Transfer to a serving bowl if using right away, or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate if storing.
