Mother's Brownies Recipe
- 1/3 c. butter (do not substitute butter)
- 2 sq. chocolate
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 beaten Large eggs
- 3/4 c. Swansdown cake flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Cream butter and sugar together.
- Heat chocolate and cold.
- Beat Large eggs and add in to sugar and butter mix.
- Sift together dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking pwdr).
- Add in cooled melted chocolate to batter.
- Add in and combine flour mix a little at a time, and vanilla and nuts.
- Pour batter into greased and floured 8 or possibly 9 inch square pan or possibly comparable size baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 min.
- This is a very moist brownie.
- Do not overbake.
