Baked On Meringue Recipe

  1. Beat 2 egg whites till frothy.
  2. Add in 1/8 tsp.
  3. cream of tartar, then gradually beat in 1 c. packed C&H Golden Sugar.
  4. Continue to beat till stiff.
  5. Spread over unbaked cake batter in pan.
  6. Sprinkle with 1/4 c. finely minced walnuts.
  7. Bake with cake as directed.
  8. Sufficient to cover one 13 x 9-inch cake
