Cheery Cherry Pastries

  1. Unroll dough and separate into triangles.
  2. Place on a greased baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, combine pie filing and almond extract.
  4. Place a rounded tablespoonfull in the center of the bottom half of the triangle.
  5. Fold the right point of the wide end of the triangle over the pie filling to the left point.
  6. Seal the bottom seam.
  7. Bring the top point over the pie filling to the left point.
  8. Seal the left seam.
  9. (The filling will show).
  10. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar and bake at 400 degrees for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
