Chai Shortbread

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine 1/2 cup butter, sugar, 2 tablespoons chai mix and vanilla in large bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
  4. Add flour; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  5. (Mixture will be somewhat crumbly.)
  6. Pat mixture evenly into ungreased 8-inch square baking pan.
  7. Bake 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Cool completely.
  9. Combine all frosting ingredients except half & half in small bowl.
  10. Add enough half & half for desired icing consistency.
  11. Spread over cooled shortbread.
  12. Cut into bars.
