Asparagus With Orange, Ginger And Sesame Oil Recipe
- 1 bn asparagus
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 clv garlic, grated
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 x orange, juice, and, zest sesame oil
- Trim the bottoms of the asparagus stalks and cut the stalks into bite-sized pcs.
- In a dry frypan, toast the sesame seeds over medium heat till golden.
- Set aside.
- In the same frypan, heat the oil over medium-high heat and add in the ginger.
- Cook for 1 minute, then add in the asparagus and salt.
- Toss and add in the orange zest and juice.
- Reduce the heat to medium, cover and let cook for 3-4 min.
- Drizzle with sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds and serve.
