Karis Taco Dip
- 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
- 1 package Taco Seasoning Mix, 1 Ounce Packet
- 16 ounces, weight Light Cream Cheese
- 1 whole Red Onion, Diced
- 2 whole Tomatoes, Diced
- 2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Once its browned, drain the grease and add taco seasoning and prepare meat mixture according to the package directions.
- Set aside.
- In a 9x13 pan, spread the cream cheese evenly on the bottom.
- Top with the taco meat and spread evenly.
- Layer the onion, tomatoes and finally the cheese on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees F until hot and bubbly, about 30 minutes.
- Serve with sturdy tortilla chips.
