Easier Than Pie Apple Dumplings

  1. Spray two 9 x 13 baking dishes with non-stick spray.
  2. Preheat oven to 375-degrees.
  3. Roll one apple quarter in one dough triangle, pressing edges to seal, and place edge side down in pan.
  4. Place with spacing for three across the 9" (short side) of the pan.
  5. Mix the melted butter, sugar and cinnamon throughly and spoon over each of the dumplings, dividing evenly between the two pans.
  6. Pour the Mountain Dew over the dumplings.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, rotating pans after about half the time has passed, so that both are golden brown.
  8. Enjoy warm or cold with a little of the sauce spooned over them.
  9. Microwaves easily.
  10. For dessert, I add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
