Walnut Pecan Pie Recipe
- 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 Large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 9 inch pie shell, unbaked
- 3/4 c. lg. pcs shelled walnuts
- 1/2 or possibly 1/4 c. shelled pecans
- Mix brown sugar and flour in saucepan.
- Add in syrup, butter, and salt.
- Hot over low heat till butter melts.
- Beat Large eggs with vanilla.
- Stir in sugar mix.
- Turn into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with walnuts and pecans.
- Bake below oven center for 40 to 45 min at 375 degrees or possibly till filling is set in center.
- Cold before cutting.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream or possibly whipped cream.
