Jerry'S Chicken Casserole

  1. Line a buttered 9 x 12-inch baking dish with bread slices.
  2. Top with chicken.
  3. Saute mushrooms in margarine (butter) 5 minutes. Spoon over chicken.
  4. Add water chestnuts.
  5. Dot with mayonnaise. Top with cheese slices.
  6. Combine eggs, milk and salt.
  7. Pour over chicken.
  8. Mix undiluted soups and pimento and spoon over casserole. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  9. Remove foil, put crumbs on top and bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
  10. Serves 8 to 10.
