Orange Gingerbread Cake
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 12 teaspoon ginger
- 12 teaspoon clove
- 12 cup chopped dates (optional)
- 2 eggs
- 14 cup oil
- 12 cup orange juice
- 12 cup milk
- 1 cup maple syrup
- Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add dates and stir again.
- Beat eggs, oil, juice, milk, and syrup in separate bowl.
- Mix into flour mixture.
- Pour into oiled 9-by-13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350 F for 30 to 40 minutes.
