Drop Cookies

  1. Cream shortening and sugar.
  2. Add eggs; mix well.
  3. Sift dry ingredients.
  4. Add dry ingredients alternately with liquid.
  5. Fold in fruit and/or nuts.
  6. Add vanilla.
  7. Drop by spoonful on a greased baking sheet.
  8. Cookies will be more uniform if they do not touch while baking.
  9. Bake at 375F for 10 minutes.
