Baked Chicken That Makes Its Own Gravy

  1. Coat chicken with flour.
  2. Arrange chicken in single layer with skin side down in melted butter in 13 x 9-inch pan.
  3. Bake, uncovered, at 425u0b0 for 30 minutes.
  4. Turn chicken and bake until brown, 15 minutes longer.
  5. Remove from oven and reduce temperature to 325u0b0.
  6. Pour off excess fat.
  7. Combine evaporated milk, soup, cheese, salt and pepper.
  8. Add mushrooms to chicken and pour soup mixture over chicken and mushrooms.
  9. Sprinkle with paprika.
  10. Cover pan with foil and bake 20 minutes longer.
  11. Serve with rice or noodles.
  12. Serves 6.
