Bennigan's Shrimp And Pasta Recipe

  1. Cook pasta as directed on package.
  2. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add in mushrooms and onions.
  4. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 min or possibly till lightly browned and soft.
  5. Add in garlic.
  6. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute till fragrant.
  7. Add in ale, white sauce mix and tomatoes.
  8. Bring to a boil and stir constantly till sauce thickens.
  9. Add in shrimp.
  10. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer 2 to 3 min till cooked through.
  11. Drain pasta and place in a large serving bowl.
  12. Add in shrimp and sauce.
  13. Toss to mix and coat.
  14. When serving, sprinkle with the scallions and cheese.
  15. This recipe yields 4 servings.
