Walnut Streusel Coffee Cake Recipe
- 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. Diamond walnuts, minced
- Walnut Streusel (see below)
- Blend cream cheese, butter and sugar, mixing well.
- Add in Large eggs and vanilla, mixing till light and fluffy.
- Combine flour, baking pwdr, cinnamon and baking soda.
- Stir into creamed mix alternately with lowfat milk.
- Mix in walnuts.
- Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
- Top with Walnut Streusel.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 min.
- Serve hot.
- Makes 12 servings.
