Left-Ovah Goulosh
- 2 qt. watah
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 peppercorns
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 small taters, diced
- 3 carrots, diced
- 3 ribs celery, diced
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1/4 c. raw rice
- 1/4 c. barley
- 1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
- basil
- garlic
- salt
- oregano
- thyme
- Grab a large kettle, 'n dump a turkey carcass (skin, giblets, leftover gravy, etc.) in it.
- Add watah, 1 teaspoon salt, peppercorns and bay leaf.
- Brang to a boil.
- Reduce heat, covah 'n simmer fur 'bout 1 1/2 hours or 'til you have made a rich stock. Strain 'n return to pot.
- Pick all the meat off 'n add to this (you gotta have sum meat!) the remaining ingredients.
- Kiver agin 'n simmer fur anothah 1 1/2 hours.
