The BEST!!! Double Chocolate Chip Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies

  1. In a mixer, cream together butter and sugars.
  2. Add remaining ingredients one at a time, incorporating well before each addition.
  3. With slightly moistened hands (dipped in water), roll dough into balls (golf ball sized) and place onto an non-greased cookie sheet.
  4. Using a flat-bottomed measuring cup (preferably metal), lightly moisten with water and press into granulated sugar.
  5. Press dough balls 1/2" thick, reapplying sugar after each cookie press.
  6. Bake at 375 for 9 to 11 minutes, being careful not to over-bake.
  7. Cookies are done when edges of cookies are slightly darker and middle is no longer doughy.
  8. Bottoms should be light.
  9. Allow to cool on cookie sheet 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
  10. Enjoy!
