Petite Filet Mignon with a Zippy Mustard Sauce
- 2 whole (4 Oz. Size) Petite Filet Mignon, 2 Inches Thick
- 1/2 teaspoons Onion Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Horseradish
- 3 Tablespoons Grainy Brown Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoons Tri Color Whole Peppercorns
- 1 Tablespoon Sour Cream
- On a clean work surface, season each steak with onion salt and black pepper.
- Preheat a grill or griddle pan on medium high heat and oil grates.
- Grill steaks 56 minutes each side, or to your desired doneness.
- Transfer to a plate, tent with foil, and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, add horseradish, grainy mustard, tri colored peppercorns, and sour cream to a ramekin and mix well to combine.
- Serve steaks with mustard sauce, and enjoy!
- We love pairing this with twice-baked cheesy potatoes.
