Chai Masala (Indian Spiced Tea)
- 4 teaspoons tea leaves
- 1 teaspoon coarsely chopped ginger (no need to peel)
- 2 green cardamom pods, cracked
- 1/2 cup milk
- Sugar, to taste
- Pour six cups water, tea, ginger, and cardamom into a saucepan, bring to a boil and cook 3 minutes.
- Add milk, and sugar to taste, and boil 2 minutes more.
- Strain and serve.
