Pennsylvania Dutch Corn Relish Recipe
- 20 ears yellow corn
- 6 green peppers, seeded and minced
- 6 red peppers, seeded and minced
- 4 lg. yellow onions, sliced
- 1 head cabbage, cored and minced
- 4 c. sugar
- 2 tbsp. powdered mustard
- 2 tbsp. celery seed
- 2 tbsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. grnd turmeric
- 5 c. cider vinegar
- 1 c. water
- Cut corn off cob.
- Combine with all remaining ingredients.
- Cook for 20 min.
- Place in warm sterilized jars and seal at once.
- Makes 10 pints.
