Mom's Cole Slaw
- 2 lbs green cabbage
- 14 cup lemon juice
- 12 cup mayonnaise
- 14 cup white vinegar
- 14 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 carrots, peeled and shredded
- Cut cabbage in quarters.
- Remove core.
- Cut into thin shreds.
- Sprinkle with salt and toss.
- Set aside.
- Combine lemon juice, mayonnaise, vinegar, ketchup, and sugar.
- Drain any accumulated liquid from cabbage.
- Add carrots and dressing.
- Toss to combine.
- Tastes better the next day.
