Mom's Cole Slaw

  1. Cut cabbage in quarters.
  2. Remove core.
  3. Cut into thin shreds.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and toss.
  5. Set aside.
  6. Combine lemon juice, mayonnaise, vinegar, ketchup, and sugar.
  7. Drain any accumulated liquid from cabbage.
  8. Add carrots and dressing.
  9. Toss to combine.
  10. Tastes better the next day.
