Pasta with Cabbage and Ham
- 1 pound Pasta Of Your Choice
- 1 whole Onion, Chopped
- 1 head Napa Cabbage
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1/2 pounds Cooked Ham, Chopped
- 2 pinches Salt, Or To Taste
- 1 pinch Black Pepper, Or To Taste
- 1 pinch Onion Powder, Or To Taste
- 1 pinch Garlic Powser Or To Taste
- 2 pinches Steak Seasoning Or To Taste
- 23 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- In a large saucepan of salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente.
- Reserve 1/2 cup of cooking water.
- Drain pasta well and set aside.
- While the pasta is cooking, in a heavy skillet cook the onion and cabbage in the oil over moderate heat.
- Cook until vegetables are golden and al dente.
- Add ham and seasonings and cook for about 2 minutes until cabbage is tender.
- Add cream and simmer until slightly thickened .
- Add the cabbage and ham mixture to pasta over low heat.
- Add enough cooking water to thin the sauce to desired consistency.
- Add Parmesan cheese, combine and serve with a green salad.
