Potatoes Au Gratin
- 4 c. peeled white potatoes
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 2 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. paprika
- Slice potatoes. Cover with water in saucepan. Add onions and salt. Boil over medium heat until tender. Drain and place in a greased casserole dish. In a saucepan, melt margarine. Stir in flour, mustard and seasoned salt. When thick, add milk. Beat with whisk until thick. Add 2 cups cheese. Stir until melted. Pour this mixture over potatoes in casserole dish. Top with bread crumbs, cheese and paprika. Bake in a 300u0b0 oven until brown and bubbly.
