Apricot Sausage Compote Recipe
- 1/2 lb sausage meat (turkey can be used)
- 1 can apricot halves
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- Fry sausage till well done.
- (If using turkey, brown lightly and then add in a little water and simmer for about 15 min.)
- Add in apricots along with the juice they are canned with.
- Add in the sugar.
- Heat.
- Serve over "Finnish Pancakes" (see recipe).
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
