Chocolate Hazelnut Swirled Banana Bread (Or Muffins)

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Sift together, flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon & nutmeg into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Cream butter (or oil) and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  5. Add in eggs one at a time, and mix until incorporated.
  6. Mix in banana mash and vanilla (or banana extract if using).
  7. Once the mixture is full mixed, fold in try ingredients.
  8. Mix batter together until everything is combined.
  9. Heat hazelnut spread in microwave for about 20 seconds or until it is melted.
  10. Spread half of your banana bread batter into the bottom of a greased bread pan (or paper lined muffin tins), drizzle with half of your hazelnut spread.
  11. Top with remaining batter.
  12. Drizzle the rest of the hazelnut spread over the top of bread.
  13. Using a fork or knife, gently swirl the batter together with the chocolate hazelnut spread.
  14. Bake for one hour (for bread; 15-20 minutes for muffins) or until a toothpick is inserted and comes out clean.
