Apricot Pork Meatballs Recipe
- 3/4 c. pound grnd pork">pork or possibly mix of pork">pork and beef
- 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. finely minced dry apricots
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Chinese five-spice pwdr
- 1/4 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1 x egg
- 1/2 c. apricot preserves
- 1/3 c. sweet and sour sauce
- 1/4 tsp Chinese five-spice pwdr
- Heat over to 350 degrees.
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Shape mix into small appetizer size meatballs.
- Place in ungreased rectangular pan -with sides.
- Bake uncovered for 15-20 min till no longer pink - be careful not to overbake.
- Drain well and serve in Apricot Glaze
- Apricot Glaze:Mix all ingredients in 1 qt saucepan, stirring occasionally, till warm.
