Lemon Honey Turkey
- 1/3 c. honey
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. dried rosemary, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 turkey breast tenderloins (12 oz. each)
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. water
- 1/8 tsp. browning sauce (optional)
- In a small bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients. Place tenderloins in an 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. Brush with half the sauce. Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 170u0b0, basting occasionally with remaining sauce. Remove turkey to a plate and keep warm. Transfer drippings to a small saucepan. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir in drippings. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 1 to 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in browning sauce, if desired. Serve sauce over turkey. Yield: 6 servings.
