Simple Croutons
- whole wheat bread cubes, 3-4 slices 60% day old whole wheat bread cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons lite olive oil
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
- Preheat oven to 350 f.
- Lightly coat the bread cubes with olive oil in a bowl.
- Add cheese and toss.
- Toss with Old Bay and gently spread onto pizza stone.
- Repeat the process so you have a full pizza stone to bake 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool.
- Store in fridge in zip lock bag until ready to add to salad or soup.
