Deviled Mushrooms
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can deviled ham
- 1 c. bread crumbs, divided
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 3 Tbsp. butter, divided
- Rinse,tat
- dry
- and remove stems from mushrooms.
- Set caps aside.
- Chop
- enough stems to make 1/2 cup.
- Reserve for later use.
- In medium bowl combine cream cheese, deviled ham, 1/2
- cup bread crumbs, reserved chopped mushroom stems, onion powder
- and pepper.
- In small saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of the
- butter. Brush outside of caps with butter.tound stuffingtixture
- into each mushroom cap.telt remaining 1 tablespoon
- of butter and stir in remaining bread crumbs.
- Sprinkle over stuffed mushrooms. Place in shallow baking dish and bake at 350u0b0 for 15 minutes.
