Pear Craisin Bread
- 3 eggs
- 1 12 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 4 cups pears, peeled, cored, and chopped up
- 1 12 cups pecans, chopped
- 1 cup craisins
- Heat oven to 325F
- Mix all wet ingredients with mixer; add the dry ingredients and finally mix in the pears, nuts and craisins.
- Grease 2 loaf pans, divide the dough between the 2 pans.
- Bake for 1 hr 15 min to 1 hour 30 min or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- The bread does have a dark appearance so don't be alarmed by that.
