Cabbage Soup (Diet Soup) Recipe
- 1/2 head cabbage (up to whole head)
- 1 pkt onion soup mix
- 6 x onions black pepper to taste
- 2 x green bell peppers herbs to taste
- 1 bn scallions
- 1 x Cubes beef bouillon (to 2) optional or possibly chicken bouillion
- 1/2 c. balsamic vinegar optional
- 1 bn celery
- 6 x carrots optional
- 16 ounce green beans optional
- 1 can v-8 vegetable juice or possibly tomato juice
- 1 can diced tomato (28 ounce)
- Chop vegetables, combine all ingredients in a stockpot and add in sufficient waterto cover.
- Boil 10 min.
- Reduce to a simmer and continue cooking untilvegetables are tender.
- Makes about six qts.
- Eat as much as you want whenever you want, at any time of the day.
