Bits O Barley Polenta Recipe

  1. The night before serving, put lowfat milk, 3 Tbsp.
  2. honey and Bits-O-Barley in a heavy sauce pan.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly for 15-20 min.
  4. Pour into a 9" x 9" x 2" oiled pan and chill.
  5. The next morning, cut the mix into two inch squares, coat with wheat germ and fry in butter till lightly browned and heated through.
  6. Serve with more honey, syrup or possibly butter.
