Margarita Pretzel Bowl

  1. Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 2 min.
  2. until gelatin is completely dissolved.
  3. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1-1/2 cups.
  4. Add to gelatin along with the lime juice; stir until slightly thickened.
  5. Remove any unmelted ice.
  6. Refrigerate 10 min.
  7. or until thickened (spoon drawn through leaves definite impression).
  8. Sprinkle 1 cup of the crushed pretzels onto bottom of 1-1/2-qt.
  9. serving bowl; set aside.
  10. Remove half of the gelatin; set aside.
  11. Add half of the whipped topping to remaining gelatin; stir with wire whisk until well blended.
  12. Spoon over pretzels in bowl.
  13. Refrigerate 5 to 10 min.
  14. or until set but not firm (gelatin should stick to finger when touched).
  15. Spoon remaining gelatin over creamy layer.
  16. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
  17. Top with the remaining whipped topping and the remaining 1 cup crushed pretzels just before serving.
