Barbecued Meatballs
- 4 pounds Ground Hamburger, Lean
- 1- 1/2 cup Evaporated Milk
- 2 cups Old Fashioned Oats
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 cup Onion, Chopped
- 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 2 cups Ketchup
- 2 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Onion, Minced
- 2 Tablespoons Liquid Smoke
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, mix together hamburger, evaporated milk, old fashioned oats, eggs, onion, chili powder, salt, garlic powder, and pepper with a wooden spoon or hands.
- Shape into walnut-sized balls.
- Place in a greased oblong pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine sauce ingredients: ketchup, brown sugar, minced onion, liquid smoke, and garlic powder.
- Pour sauce over meatballs.
- Bake covered for 1 hour.
