Shellfish Cioppino

  1. Saute onions and garlic in oil for 5 minutes.
  2. Add parsley, tomato puree, tomato sauce, sherry, spices and water.
  3. Simmer (covered) for 1 hour.
  4. Remove garlic.
  5. Add fish and shellfish. Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes more.
  6. Top with steamed clams.
  7. Serve over pasta.
