Anpanman Cupcakes

  1. Combine and sift the flour and baking powder.
  2. Bring the butter to room temperature to soften.
  3. The black sesame nerikiri is made with black sesame paste mixed in, and the cinnamon is made with cinnamon powder mixed in.
  4. Divide the white nerikiri into the sizes you need, then make the black sesame and cinnamon nerikiri portions.
  5. Place the butter and sugar (65 g) in a bowl and mix well until white.
  6. Add the beaten egg a little at a time, mixing until fluffy.
  7. Add the sifted dry ingredients and mix well with a spatula.
  8. Preheat the oven to 170C.
  9. Spoon the batter into the cups, then bake in the oven at 170C for 25~30 minutes.
  10. They are done when a skewer or toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  11. Let cool to room temperature.
  12. Once cooled, cut off the tops with a knife, make a hole in the center, and fill with whipped cream.
  13. Replace the tops of the cupcakes.
  14. Color the nerikiri, then top the cupcakes with it.
  15. Use a spatula to create the shapes of Anpanman and his friends and they're done.
