Brie Pasta Recipe
- 4 lg. tomatoes, cut into cubes
- 1 pound brie cheese, rind removed, torn into pcs
- 1 c. cleaned fresh basil, cut into strips
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled & finely chopped
- 1 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 lbs. bowtie pasta
- Combine tomatoes, brie, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper in large serving bowl.
- Prepare at least 2 hrs before serving and set aside, covered, at room temperature.
- Bring 6 qts water to a boil in a large pot.
- Add in pasta and boil till tender but still hard, 8 to 10 min.
- Drain pasta and immediately toss with the tomato sauce.
- Serve at once.
- 4 to 6 portions.
