Logan Bread Recipe
- 1/2 c. unbleached flour
- 1/2 c. soy flour
- 1/4 c. wheat germ
- 4 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 c. honey
- 3 tbsp. molasses
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. dry lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 to 4 c. dry fruits and nuts (dates, prunes, apricots, fruit cake mix, sunflower nuts, almonds, walnuts, peanuts)
- Dump all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix with hand.
- Add in water till it holds together well.
- Pat out on cookie sheet to 1/2 inch thickness.
- Score into squares.
- Bake 1/2 to 1 hour (or possibly less) at 300 degrees.
- Do not overcook.
- Shouldn't be brown or possibly it gets hard.
- Freezes well.
