Narkel'er Sandesh (Coconut Sweet), by Swagnik

  1. Blend freshly prepared cchena (cottage cheese)on low flame for 1 minute.
  2. Mix thoroughly with dessicated coconut, cardamom dust and powdered sugar.
  3. Place on heavy bottomed pan and cook on low flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, mix gently and take out balls from the mixture and then shape the balls into desired shapes (I use moulds to give shape to the balls).
  5. Garnish with bits of nuts, or dessicated coconut or silver foil.
  6. Let standby time to cool, refrigerate, and serve cold (not chilled).
