Moon Craters

  1. Butter 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  2. Cook corn syrup, sugar and 2 tablespoons of butter in saucepan over low heat for 5 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  3. Boil 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Add cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated.
  6. Press firmly into prepared pan.
  7. Melt remaining 1 tablespoon butter and chocolate chips in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  8. Drizzle over cereal mixture.
  9. Chill for 30 minutes.
  10. Cut into 2-inch squares.
  11. Store in airtight containers.
