Sealed-With-A-Kiss Brownies
- 1/2 lb. milk chocolate kisses (approximately 32)
- 1/2 c. lightly salted butter or margarine, softened
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. coarsely broken walnuts
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease the bottom and sides of an 8-inch square baking pan.
- Reserve 16 kisses and coarsely chop the remaining kisses, about 1 cup; reserve.
- In a medium bowl, beat the butter with an electric mixer until creamy.
- Add the sugar and continue beating until mixture is light and fluffy.
- Mix in the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
- Beat in the chocolate and vanilla until blended.
- Beat in the flour and salt just until combined.
- Stir in the chopped chocolate kisses and walnuts.
