Chewy Butterscotch-Walnut Bars
- 9 graham crackers, finely crushed (about 1-1/4 cups crumbs)
- 1 cup sugar, divided
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine or butter, melted, divided
- 2 eggs
- 1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Butterscotch Flavor Instant Pudding
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts
- 1/2 cup BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Mix crumbs, 1/4 cup of the sugar and 1/3 cup of the margarine in small bowl.
- Press firmly onto bottom of 9-inch square baking pan.
- Bake 8 min.
- ; set aside.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350F.
- Beat eggs and remaining 3/4 cup sugar in medium bowl with electric mixer on high speed until thick and lemon colored.
- Blend in remaining margarine.
- Add dry pudding mix and flour; beat until well blended.
- Stir in walnuts and chocolate chunks.
- Spread onto crust.
- Bake 30 min.
- Cool.
- Cut into 18 bars to serve.
- Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.
