Sun Tea
- 6 single serving bags of black tea (Luzianne preferred)
- 2 single serving bags flavored herbal tea (chai, berry, peach, etc.)
- Remove hang tags from the tea bags (you don't want the dye leaching into your tea) and drop into a 1/2 gallon glass pitcher.
- Fill with cold water, making sure to wet the tea bags so they will submerge as they sit.
- Cover pitcher with a lid or with plastic wrap.
- Set outside, preferably where the tea will be in the sun for several hours, although a warm area on a cloudy day will work (if not take a little longer).
- Allow to steep for 4-6 hours or until the tea is dark enough.
- Remove tea bags and discard.
- Serve tea with ice and lemon if desired, and discard any unused tea if it is not used the same day.
